Alternative fundraising techniques in practice
Our project was supported by the International Visegrad Fund (amount 13 000 €).
The Hungarian ’For the Civil Network of Veszprém County Public Benefit Association’ (applicant) implemented this project with the following partners: Czech Fundraising Center (Czech Republic), Good Network Foundation (Poland), Youth Association of Gemer (Slovakia) and Ukrainian Hungarian Development Center (Ukrain) in the period of 8th January and 31st December 2014.
While examining the civil sector and fundraising techniques in the 5 countries, it came out there is still a lot to do for strenghtening the donor culture. Altough the practices we met during the project, will provide good examples for those working on this field.
The aim of our project is to learn about the exsisting alternative fundraising techniques in the V4 coutries and Ukraine. As the result of our common work we would like to transfer the information and knowledge to the civil sector, which can be used by them. In this way we help them to build the society, using successfully the alternative fundraising techniques.
In our publication you can read not only about the good examples, but also the national analysis of situation of civil sectors in each partner countries.
The printed version of the publication will be available at the end of this year. The online version will be accessible in each partner’s website.
On the workshop in Prague (11-12 November 2014) we worked on more opportunities for further cooperation in the future.
